Scripture inspiring message, Genesis 1:12;
“And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Every principle and pattern on the earthly realm is a manifestation of a certain spiritual pattern, for this reason, Romans 1:20 teaches us that we can understand the invisible things of the God head and his eternal power by observing and considering the visible things.

Our opening verse, Genesis 1:12 reveals a very important spiritual principle that was set by God before the foundation of the world but revealed and applied during the creation of things on earth. This principle is that “EVERY TREE YIELDS OR PRODUCES FRUIT, whose seed is in itself BUT AFTER HIS OWN KIND.”

By the testimony of John 1:12-13 which says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” We understand that when we became born again, we were born of the KIND and NATURE of almighty GOD.

Jesus in John 15:2- 5 describes this condition as he being the vine and we being the branches which can only bear or bring forth much fruit when we abide in him. However in Mathew 7:17 he notes that “Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.”

Jesus is God incarnate and the manifestation of the nature of God because God is good so is his son (the vine/tree) and the fruit that is bore by we (the branches).

The word bear used in John 15:2 means to carry, hold or convey. This means the production of the good and much fruit is entirely to the Christ (the tree) and not to us (the branches). Our responsibility in bearing fruit is to be present/abide in Christ by yielding to the spirit by which we are baptized into the body of Christ.

For this reason, Galatians 5:22 describes love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance as the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT which means it’s the work of the Holy Spirit to produce fruit but our responsibility to bear it. Abide and rest in Christ with the understanding that he is a good tree you will bear much and good fruit.
