While preaching the gospel, I’ve had an opportunity to get to know the mind of people towards God. For example, there are people whose reason, for not getting born again is because they think they have sinned too much beyond redemption point. Others are born again but quit church and fellowship with the brethren because they think their weaknesses in the flesh are beyond redemption. However, when you study our theme scripture, the Bible clearly teaches us that Christ died for our redemption while we were yet sinners and this was all because of God’s love towards us.
In other words, Christ didn’t die for any righteous man because in the first place all had sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. [Romans 3:23] This is why to us who are born again and have freely received the free gift of righteousness; The scriptures give us no room to boast and condemn them which are not born again or which are weak in the Faith; [Ephesians 2:8] This is because it’s not our doing right that earned us righteousness but rather the righteousness of God causes us to do right. Therefore God has given to us the ministry of men’s reconciliation back to himself. This can only be through revealing to men, the love of God which is stronger than sin and death;
In that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Prayer and confession:
Father Lord, I thank you for your love which delivered me from sin and death. I acknowledge that even at my worst, you loved and will always love me. This gives me the strength and confidence to daily stand before you. I surely know that nothing will ever separate me from you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
